Brussels Kermis Pickleball Tournament

A pickleball tournament is being held at the Brussels Kermis on Sunday, September 6.  Signup for the tournament begins at 10 AM (right after mass) and start tIme is 10:30 AM.  The registration fee is $10 per person.  All proceeds will go to the Saint Francis and Saint Mary's Parish. There will not be any set teams. You will be assigned a new partner each game. All levels of play are welcome. Games will go to 11 points. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Gina Cilento Returns for Clinics

The Door County Pickleball Club is pleased to welcome back Gina Cilento, Pro Pickleball player from Cedarburg, Wisconsin on Saturday, September 19th to Sevastopol Park for a day of clinics. In case of rain the clinics will be held on Sunday, September 20th. 

Gina is a top ranked Senior Pro, and a powerhouse on the court. She is an APP multi-medalist. Gina was a first-round draft pick for the Indy Drivers in 2024 for the National Pickleball League and will be playing with the Denver Iconics for the 2026 Season. Gina is a top-tier coach with a waitlist for her sold-out clinics. She co-founded The Pickleball Lab in Cedarburg, Wi, a private indoor training facility where players sharpen their skills.

These clinics are limited to only 8 players per clinic. Cost is $75 per person for Door County Pickleball Club members and $85 for non-members. Payments for the clinics can be made in two forms: 1. You can Venmo Gina directly at: @ginacilentopickleball. 2. Pay Gina in cash the day of the clinics. Please note that any cancellations after September 15th will not be refunded.

Gina will be providing 3 clinics for all levels of play. Each one hour session will concentrate on a specific set of shots with focused instruction and high-repetition drilling designed to help you sharpen technique, build consistency, and transfer each skill to the court. Gina reserves the right to change or modify clinics based on registration.

Clinic Details:

9:30AM - 10:30AM: Third, Fourth, and Fifth Balls  

10:45AM - 11:45AM: Overheads, Kill Shots, and Drives

12:00PM - 1:00PM: Serves, Returns, Lob Recovery, and Overheads
