PRO PICKLEBALL CLINICS - 2023
We are very excited to announce that we have two top female pro’s coming to Door County this summer!! Andrea Koop and Maggie Remynse will be coming to Door County on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25 to provide us with some great Pickleball clinics. We will be holding these clinics at the new Town of Sevastopol courts. Maggie and Andrea are sisters from Michigan and are both top 25 pro Pickleball players.
On Saturday, June 24th Andrea and Maggie will be providing (3), two-hour clinics. These clinics will help all ability levels whether you have just started Pickleball or an advanced seasoned player.
Clinic #1: 9-11am: Adv. Beginner / Lower Intermediate
Clinic #2: 12-2pm: Intermediate Plus
Clinic #3: 2:30-4:30: Advanced
Attendance will be limited to a max of 16 people per clinic which will give the participants an 8:1 pro to student ratio. The cost for the clinic is $135 for members of the Door County Pickleball Club, and the cost for non-members is $175 per person.
On Sunday, June 25th, Andrea and Maggie will offer two different sessions. First, they are providing us an opportunity to watch the pro’s warm up, drill, play points, and learn from their real-time decision making. We may even have a chance to ask some questions. This session will be court side standing room only for the first 50 people that register. Cost is only $10 for members and $20 for non-members. This is a great event for those of us who have never watched a pro play Pickleball. I can personally attest that the speed, depth, and consistency is absolutely incredible to see in person. This session will start at approximately 8:30AM.
The second session on Sunday will be the play with the pro session. During this session you will have one of the pro’s on court with you to provide some really great instruction and feedback while playing games. The pro will rotate partners so you all will have a good opportunity to not only play directly with the pro, but also against the pro. I would suggest you find 3 players of similar ability to ensure a good session. The cost for this 1.5-hour session is $225 per person for members and $250 for non-members. You do not need to attend the Saturday clinics to register for the Sunday play with the pro sessions. The first play with the pro session will be 10-11:30AM and session #2 will be 12PM – 1:30PM.
Please do not wait to sign-up as these sessions will fill up very quickly! If for some reason the weekend is a rain event and the clinics cannot be conducted, those who have registered will get the first chance at a future date or a full refund.

Polarball - January 1st - New Year's Day - 2023
A record 60 players showed up to play Pickleball in chilling 30 degree temps with a wind chill of 15 degrees at noon on New Years Day. A couple of hardy individuals worked very hard to get nearly 4' of snow cleared earlier in the week. Then, the night before the event the weather threw us another curve-ball with a coating of ice. But, that did not deter us. We arrived at the courts before the sun rose, applied some de-icer and then blew off the courts. The courts were in good condition by the time the event started. So much fun, laughter, and great pickleball was had by all those that attended. Many thanks to Core Pickleball and Pickleball Central for sponsoring this event!
2022 Annual End of Summer Social Event was held on August 31, 2022 at Sunset Park. This event was a huge success and attended by well over 100 Door County Pickleball Club Members and guests.
